The Communications Senior Manager will coordinate and support the marketing and communication activities of the parent company SBI DAH, develop and drive multi-platform communications and event strategy, and support integrated marketing and communications across a variety of channels.  

The Communication Senior Manager will also coordinate the communication activities for SBI DAH’s subsidiaries and portfolio companies (collectively, the “Group”).  

The role will be based in Tokyo and reports to the Head of Business Development at SBI DAH.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop multi-platform communications strategy and plan in line with corporate and brand direction while reflecting local priorities of SBI DAH and its subsidiaries.
• Plan event strategy and roadmap to execute events of different scales and formats that boost business development.
• Review and optimize the design and content of all online assets including the company website and social media pages. Monitor website traffic and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.       
• Develop and maintain a media kit with all major resources available to the specialized press
• Support integrated communications across a variety of channels and vehicles– internal, external, PR, digital, social, web, etc.
• Act as a brand champion both internally and externally and ensure full compliance with the brand guidelines and message across all solutions.
• Collaborate across teams to develop key messages for campaigns, programs, and content syndication including thought leadership, market reports, surveys, and client success stories.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business or communications
• 3+ years of public relations and/ or digital marketing experience

• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese
• Leadership qualities and personal accountability, must be able to drive the agenda
• Able to operate in an international and cross-functional environments

• Passionate about digital assets adoption within the financial industry
• Practical knowledge of blockchain and distributed ledger technologies

• Work hour: 9:00 AM – 5:45 PM (off-peak commuting allowed)
• Holiday: Weekends (Saturday and Sunday), Japanese national holidays, new year’s holiday
• Allowance: commute fee, midnight OT
